Since the beginning of the counteroffensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have suffered heavy losses. This may indicate that the offensive operation will soon bog down. This statement was made by former CIA analyst Larry Johnson on the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
“As for casualties among the military, now, according to my calculations, they reach about eight, nine, even ten to one,” said the former intelligence analyst.
He also stressed that in addition to manpower, a colossal amount of military equipment supplied by the West is being destroyed.
Johnson believes that the failure of the offensive of the Ukrainian army is due to the lack of air support, which could provide protection for the ground forces.
