Former Avangard coach Bob Hartley gave a lecture to Omsk residents on the psychology of leadership

On Friday, March 24, at the G-Drive Arena, the former head coach of Avangard, and now a consultant to his hockey academy, Bob Hartley, gave a lecture to everyone about the psychology of leadership. Including the specialist gave examples from coaching practice.

Former Avangard coach Bob Hartley gave a lecture on the psychology of leadership on March 24 at the G-Drive Arena. Part of the audience here was the most active season ticket holders for the “hawks” games, as well as participants in the training of coaches of the new franchise network of the club’s hockey school, which is currently underway in Omsk.

Bob’s lecture was part of the program of a new project – the Avant-Garde Ideas Club. The mentor spoke about how to competently build relationships in the team, and also gave examples from his coaching practice.

The lecture was followed by a photo session with Hartley for the participants of the event.

It is worth noting that Avangard previously signed a franchise as a form of cooperation with partners from Moscow, Sochi, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Voronezh and Ulyanovsk. They were given adapted methods of teaching children, sets of business materials and technologies.

For the current training of coaches, the Academy has developed several training programs with seminars and trainings from candidates and doctors of pedagogical sciences from leading Russian universities of physical culture and experts from the Academy itself – senior coaches, methodologists, sports psychologists and a nutritionist.

“During the first full-time training, the mentors attended training sessions on the ice and in the gyms, including with the participation of the foreign Academy consultant Bob Hartley, studied the topics of planning the training process and much more. And as a result of the program, they received Academy certificates and were recommended for further work in the club’s franchise network,” Avangard’s press service noted.
