Foreign observers are working at the polling stations in Moscow where referendums on joining the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions are being held. They stated that the voting process was organized at a high level.

“First of all, I must say that based on what I saw, the citizens who voted highly appreciated the organization of the referendums. I am sure that the outcome of this vote will be positive for all citizens of all republics. Despite all the very many difficulties encountered in organizing these referendums, I am pleased that they did happen,” said former Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Dragan Todorovic.

Sputnik journalist White Reid from the US also said he did not see any deviation from the norm.

“I see that the process is going according to the rules, which is not the same as what we are told in the Western news. We are told that armed men are forcing citizens to vote. But I saw people who are determined to vote and decide for themselves the fate of their region,” he said.

Reid said that he was at the sites in Moscow, Crimea and Kherson, and everywhere he saw the desire of people to be with that government, with those authorities that can provide them with the most necessary things – warmth, work and food.

Recall that from September 23 to 27, 2022, referendums are being held on the territory of the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions on the issue of joining these regions to the Russian Federation. For those living outside these regions, polling stations are organized in Russia, including in Moscow.
