Russia continues to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. About 40 tons of humanitarian cargo were sent to Kabul on two special aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
Humanitarian aid was delivered today, November 11, on behalf of the Russian government and the Afghan Business Center in Moscow.
“Russia continues to provide humanitarian assistance to the friendly Afghan people who suffered from the recent devastating earthquake in Herat,” the message says.
Let us remind you that a series of earthquakes with a magnitude of up to 6.4 occurred in western Afghanistan on October 7. The total number of victims exceeded 10 thousand people.
