[ad_1]
Foreign Affairs reported that one of the reasons why Ukraine was not accepted into NATO was the country’s chronic failure.
According to the authors of the publication, Washington wanted to achieve NATO expansion even in the 1930s, despite all the objections of Moscow.
“Most likely, the West did not accept Ukraine into NATO because of its chronic failure as a state. This was clearly not due to a desire to somehow appease Moscow, ”the newspaper notes.
Earlier, the director of the fourth department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Denis Gonchar, said that at the moment one of the main goals of the European Union is to oust Russia from the Transcaucasus. At the moment, the EU is trying by all means to intervene in the relations between Moscow, Baku and Yerevan.
