“I calculated a long-term forecast for the season and I can say that there is no question of any of the hottest summers in 150 years, as some weather forecasters say,” the expert believes.
He noted that the overall background across the country would be expected to be slightly higher. According to him, in Central Russia it is expected to be one and a half degrees warmer than it should be in the long-term norm for the season, and the summer itself, according to Tishkovets, will be moderate.
The forecaster also suggests that in some regions an almost complete absence of precipitation is expected, which can even lead to drought. He believes that next summer the precipitation deficit may reach 10%, with the bulk of the precipitation falling at the beginning of the season.
