Forecaster Tishkovets predicted cool May in Moscow
Relatively cool, unsettled weather with moderate rainfall is expected in Moscow in May. Evgeny Tishkovets, the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, spoke about this.
According to his forecast, the norm of precipitation will be exceeded by 10%.
“The onset of meteorological summer, when the average daily air temperature is plus 15 degrees and above, can occur at best only in the final days of May,” he said.
In the first ten days of the month, the temperature will be 1-4 degrees below the climatic norm. By the second decade, the temperature background will gradually return to normal, it is expected from 5 to 10 degrees at night and 15-20 during the day. In the third decade, a cold snap is likely, the air will only occasionally warm up to +20 degrees and above.
