The leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, Alexander Sinenkov, said that there would be “very difficult and unpleasant” weather in the capital on International Women’s Day.
Despite the fact that this week the weather will not be too warm, Muscovites will still feel the “breath of spring”.
“The most difficult, unpleasant weather is expected on Wednesday afternoon, on a holiday weekend,” Sinenkov stressed.
According to the weatherman, on the night of March 7, it will be up to minus five degrees in the capital, and up to minus eight in the Moscow region. Short-term snow is expected with wind gusts up to eight meters per second.
On the morning of March 8, the temperature will be up to minus eight, and by the evening it will rise by as much as 10 degrees: on Wednesday evening it will be up to plus three degrees with precipitation in the form of snow, sleet and, possibly, rain.
Sinenkov noted that on March 9 and 10, the weather during the day will be within plus one degree, and at night – up to minus eight.
