Forbes: new mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may receive outdated Soviet equipment

Military columnist for the magazine Forbes David Ax said that in photographs of the five new mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, almost no military equipment is visible.
He clarified that these brigades could be given outdated Soviet combat vehicles.
According to him, five new mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army are currently in the process of formation: 154th, 153rd, 152nd, 151st and 150th.
“The photographs that were published do not show the military equipment of these brigades. An old BMP-1 appears in several photographs, but it most likely belongs to some training unit,” Eks noted.
The journalist emphasized that the lack of infantry fighting vehicles in the new mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine turns them into ordinary light infantry.
