For the first time, the “Five Seas Cup” was held in Arkhangelsk

More than 50 participants from the Arkhangelsk, Vologda regions and the Komi Republic took part in the tournament. Sambo unites people of different professions. There are also fans of this sport in Rosrybolovstvo.

– Rosrybalovstvo, within the framework of its public activities, deals with a fairly wide range of tasks, in particular, we are involved in various sports areas. So we decided to try to organize Sambo championships. Our leadership liked the idea, the leadership of the Sambo Federation liked the idea. “Cup of Five Seas” is held in many cities of the country. Sambo wrestlers compete in the capital, Kaliningrad, Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Arkhangelsk became the venue for the first of five stages not by chance. The organizers of the tournament and its participants are confident that sambo has a great future in Pomorie. The beginning has already been made. Out of ten weight categories, the Pomorie Team managed to win five gold medals at once, the remaining five were taken by guests from Vologda.
