For the first time in a quarter of a century, equestrians from St. Petersburg won the Russian team dressage championship. The competitions were held in mid-June in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The team from St. Petersburg left behind horsemen from the capital of Russia, as well as specialists from the Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl and Kirov regions.
“There was a kind of historical moment. Until this day, St. Petersburg has never won the national team championships among adult athletes over the past 25 years, – said the team’s coach Yulia Printseva.
