Norwegian football player Matthias Normann, a former midfielder of Rostov and Dynamo Moscow, has signed a contract with the Saudi club Al-Raed. This was reported by the press service of the club.
Earlier, on August 9, it became known that Norman sent notices of termination of the contract to Rostov, which owns the rights to the football player, and to Dynamo, where he played on loan. The athlete explained his decision by the incident with drones in the Moscow City building.
The general director of Dynamo, Pavel Pivovarov, said that the club does not agree with Norman’s position, and that he will have to prove his case in court.
Norman played on loan at English club Norwich last season in 2021/22. In March 2022, he stated that he did not want to return to Russia, but nevertheless returned in the summer. He also noted that he always liked Moscow and that he always wanted to try his hand at playing in the capital.
