Football in Crimea: a major victory for Tavriya and an unexpected loss for Kyzyltash

On Sunday, two of the three matches of the 18th round of the Crimean Football Union Premier League championship of the 2023 season were played. Spectators saw 11 goals scored!
Bakhchisaray “Kyzyltash” lost to Kerch “Ocean” at its stadium – 1:3. The guests took the lead in the 15th minute – Vladislav Kondratyuk opened the opponent’s goal. In the 34th minute, Kyzyltash defender Daniil Afanasyev cut the ball into his own goal. Just before the break, the hosts managed to reduce the gap – Redvan Memeshev scored. In the opening of the second half of the match, Kyzyltash midfielder Arsen Sozanov saw a second yellow card in front of him and left the team in the minority. And in the 65th minute, Bakhchisarai goalkeeper Nikita Repin received a straight red card. With only nine players left, the Krasnokamensk team conceded again. In the 72nd minute, Azat Zakaev scored from the penalty spot, setting the final score of the match.
Simferopol “Tavria” beat the youth team “Sparta-KT” with a score of 5:2. Already in the 5th minute, Andrey Gaidash opened the scoring in the game. Yuri Maksimov doubled the Tavrians’ advantage in the 9th minute. In the 34th minute, Mark Yablonsky scored one goal, but seven minutes later Dlaver Nuridinov again increased his team’s lead. In the second half, Alexander Popov, who came on as a substitute, scored two goals in the 80th and 90th minutes, securing Tavriya’s victory. Yablonsky scored a double for the Spartans, hitting the opponent’s goal for the second time in the 83rd minute.
Another match of the 18th round will take place on November 1. On this day, Sevastopol “Chernomorets” and Alushta “Aluston-YUBK” will play.
On Saturday (September 23) the group stage matches of the CFU Cup will be held. “Ocean” will play with “Chernomorets”, and “Kyzyltash” will play with “Tavriya”.
