“Football at school” is now at Serpukhov school No. 19 named after. Romana Katasonova

In the 2023/2024 academic year, school No. 19 named after Roman Katasonov in Serpukhov joined the RFU Football at School Project.

This project, created by the Russian Football Union, is aimed at attracting children and teenagers to the most popular sport in the world – football. As part of the project, schoolchildren are given the opportunity to participate in football classes outside of school hours and in specialized sections.

One of the key elements of the project is additional football lessons for schoolchildren, as well as active cooperation with football clubs. In addition, the project provides for the training of teachers so that they can successfully teach football classes, as well as the school’s participation in the All-Russian festival and football competitions among schoolchildren of different age categories.

Thus, thanks to participation in the “Football at School” project, school No. 19 named after Roman Katasonov provides its students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of football, develop their sports skills and participate in competitions at the regional and federal levels. This is a great opportunity for children and teenagers to show their talent and become part of a big football family.

From October 2, enrollment in groups for classes at school is open for students in grades 4-5 and 6-7. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday from 15:30 to 17:30. This schedule will allow students to effectively use their time after school and gain additional knowledge and skills. In addition, such a schedule will also allow children to have enough time to complete homework and engage in other extracurricular activities. By enrolling in groups, students will be able to receive additional support and assistance in their studies, as well as broaden their horizons and develop their talents and abilities.
