FOM reported how many Russians supported the entry of new territories into the Russian Federation

Specialists of the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) published on their website the results of a study of the attitude of Russians to referendums and the entry of new territories into the Russian Federation.
According to the study, 78% of the respondents support joining the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as part of Russia.
37% of respondents expressed the opinion that voting in the DPR and LPR was carried out in a timely manner. Another 44% believe that the referendum should have been held earlier.
42% of survey participants believe that the referendums in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions were timely. But there are also those who believe that they should have been organized earlier, such 31%.
Referendums on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into Russia were held in these regions simultaneously, from 23 to 27 September.
According to the results that were announced, the majority of voters were positive. On September 30, the ceremony of signing the treaties took place in the Kremlin.
In the West, they said that the results of the referendums are not recognized.
Earlier on Wednesday, the EU announced that it would be impossible to obtain a Schengen visa using Russian passports issued in the above territories, as well as in Crimea, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
