“FlowersExpo 2022” takes place in Moscow

On September 13-15, the most beautiful and fragrant event of the year, the XII International Exhibition “FlowersExpo-2022”, which demonstrates this year unprecedented interest of visitors, specialists and hopes of the professional community.

The exhibition primarily shows innovations and trends in the production and sale of flowers and plants, technologies and materials for floriculture. The exhibition is not just bouquets, but a global meeting place face to face and online for professionals, participants in the Russian market of flowers and plants, floristry and landscape design.

Flowers are the smile of the sun, which gives joy. When you think about flowers, roses and carnations, poppies and daisies, gladioluses and tulips, chrysanthemums and violets are circling in your imagination, as in a cheerful round dance. Flowers evoke wonderful feelings because they are perfection itself. How poor and sad the world would be without flowers. And the world of flowers is gentle and bright, fastidious and extremely beautiful.

The FlowersExpo exhibition managed to maintain its high status both in the difficult conditions of the pandemic and in the new economic conditions of this year. The event is attended by 235 companies from Russia and foreign countries, which is 10% higher than last year. The main participants in the 2022 season, like last year, are Russian companies, their number has increased significantly, becoming a sign of the restoration and development of the domestic flower and plant market in the post-COVID reality. Domestic experts in the chain “production – sales” discuss and decide for the common good the most important topic: “How to maintain the quality of a flower from the producer to the counter.” Guests and business representatives of business are welcomed at their stands by 2000 professionals. And 90 domestic and foreign experts participate in business events. Within the framework of the Day of Russian Nurseries, issues related to the interaction of nurseries, landscape architects and garden centers are outlined.

Flowers are expected from the exhibition “FlowersExpo” in the first place. And there will be flowers at the exhibition, and many, and of all kinds! Leading domestic producers from Kaluga, Yaroslavl, Novosibirsk, Penza, Orenburg, Mordovia, Udmurtia and other cities and regions of the country are preparing excellent cut flowers for display. The exhibition also widely presents a variety of planting material from the largest Russian nurseries and leading seed companies, floristic products, as well as plant protection products, soils, fertilizers, equipment and IT technologies.

Participants show great interest in the competitive program. Especially many applications were submitted for competitions in the nominations “Best Product Quality”, “New Year”, “Best Innovative Solution”, “Best Stand”, the winners of which will receive commemorative diplomas of the exhibition. Over the three days of the exhibition, more than 50 diverse business events will be held: FlowersCONF, The Future of Flower Farming in Russia, Green Retail: Garden Center 2022, and others.

Demonstrating achievements in floriculture, landscaping and landscape gardening, the FlowersExpo 2022 exhibition provides participants with good opportunities to promote their products and services to consumers anywhere in the country. In the context of the new economic reality and the transformation of the market for flowers and plants, domestic producers confirm their importance for the professional community and act as an effective marketing tool for business development and the industry as a whole.

Colorful floristic events traditionally become a real decoration of the exhibition. The key event of 2022 will be the Russian Championship of Florists. Shows go non-stop on the main stage of the exhibition. Future florists learn from professionals and take part in the traditional competition for students of floristic schools “Touching Perfection”.
