Flights of civilian drones banned in Voronezh region

Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev informedwhich supported the introduction of a ban on the use of civilian drones in the region.
“I supported the decision of my colleagues to ban flights over the territory of the Voronezh region of unmanned aerial vehicles for civilian purposes,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Now this will be allowed only to law enforcement agencies and individual authorities. In addition, legal entities whose business processes are geared towards the use of drones will be able to obtain permission to use the UAV for peaceful purposes if their applications are justified.
January 10 using drones banned also in North Ossetia, and at the end of December, similar measures were introduced in the Volgograd and Kaluga regions, in Primorye and other regions.
On October 19, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response was introduced in eight border regions, including Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Belgorod, Bryansk, Rostov and Kursk regions. Some of them are regularly shelled by Ukraine, which also uses UAVs. In all other regions of Russia, a basic readiness regime is in place, which involves strengthening the protection of critical facilities, as well as monitoring their work. At the same time, martial law was introduced in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
