Flights were delayed at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg due to an infestation of bees. As eyewitnesses in social networks reported on the afternoon of June 12, the plane to Kazan of the Nord Wind airline could not fly on schedule, writes 78.ru. When a ladder was brought up to the side, a swarm of bees immediately clung to it. The flight was postponed, it was decided to replace the gangway, since it was unsafe to launch passengers on it.
The Pulkovo press service assured Kommersant that the incident, if it took place, did not affect the operation of the airport in any way. No emergencies were recorded there.
“The Nord Wind plane took off at 13:16 as usual. All details need to be clarified with the airline, ”the press service of the airport noted.
It was not possible to contact representatives of Nord Wind at the time of preparation of the material.
Meanwhile, according to media reports, a flight to Moscow was also delayed at Pulkovo for a similar reason.
