Fitness trainer Oborin called exercises that can lead to injuries

Evotren fitness school expert mentor and X-Fit network expert Maxim Oborin told “Gazete.Ru” about exercises that carry a high risk of injury.
First of all, Oborin noted, the injury risk of exercises depends on the general preparation of the body, muscle imbalances, biomechanics of movements and the amount of load. Moreover, there are such exercises that most often turn into injuries for an unprepared person. For example, squats.
To perform squats, a person must have a mobile hip joint, as well as stability of the knee joint and mobility of the ankle joint. If you do squats without proper preparation, then over time, the exercise can result in chronic pain.
The deadlift also requires attention – incorrect performance of the exercise threatens the development of protrusions and hernias. To avoid such consequences, the trainer recommends performing deadlifts with measured preparation.
Jerks, a weightlifting exercise that has become popular in fitness, also carries a risk for an unprepared body: shoulder joints, as well as the cervical and lumbar regions, may suffer.
Incorrect use of weights is also traumatic, Oborin noted.
“Exercising with a squat on one leg placed on the handle of a kettlebell can also lead to serious damage to the ankle,” the fitness trainer explained.
