The Interregional Fishing Championship for the Cup of Kislovodsk brought together about 30 athletes from the Moscow Region, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of Adygea and other regions of the country.
“The championship was held in three rounds. Each – for 1.5 hours. The winners were determined by the number of fish caught,” – said the head of Kislovodsk Evgeny Moiseev.
As a result, according to him, the first place was taken by Ilya Gromov (Essentuki), the second – by Nikita Burnyashev (Zheleznovodsk), the third was Roman Stepanov (Novopavlovsk). Alexander Pechenkin, a guest from Domodedovo, caught the largest fish 40 centimeters long.
The 2022 fishing season in the region has ended. The next competitions will be held in the spring of 2023, Evgeny Moiseev said.
