First time in tenth grade at STS

On September 5 at 19.00 the first bell will ring for the heroes of the STS comedy series Cool Katya. Danya Milokhin, Luisa Gabriela Brovina, Margarita Dyachenkova, whose total audience on social networks exceeds 40 million people, will play in the new story of schoolchildren 10 “G”, led by a reckless geography teacher (Valery Astapova).

Most of the filming of the new comedy took place in the Noginsk gymnasium in 1908. Once within the walls of an old educational institution, the performers of the main roles recalled their school years. “I loved school very much, because I didn’t want to sit at home, where it was boring and I had to do homework. And at school there were my friends and in general a different life. And I was glad to sit down at the desk again thanks to the shooting, ”Danya Milokhin shared.

Unlike her colleague, Louise Gabriela Brovina preferred to spend time in the “Closed School” – on the set of the popular TV series STS: “In my life there were few ordinary schools, but there were many “Closed Schools”. My school time was spent on film sets, but I don’t regret it at all. What the school is especially associated with is mathematics and the multiplication table, which I studied with tears and tantrums. I wasn’t particularly friendly with my classmates, and the teachers were great.”

Margarita Dyachenkova, who played the beloved girl of the hero Milokhin, admitted that she also could not boast of such a friendly class as 10 “G”: “I didn’t have this: when for you school is not lessons, but friends with whom you can have a great time time and get out of trouble. For me, “Cool Katya” is a small life with which I close the gestalt of school friendship.

Margarita’s senior colleague Alena Babenko brought memories of her mother and favorite teachers into her image of the head teacher: “My mother is a teacher, and I myself feed on the memories of my school, which I loved madly. I respected and loved my teachers, and my head teacher, by the way, is very similar to my Nora Spartakovna, especially in her manner of speaking, so I keep her image in my head.

The lead actress, the daughter of the mayor and the geography teacher, Valeria Astapova, recalled that she knew geography at the top five at school: “Geography was taught by a strict teacher, so there was no chance not to know this subject. By the way, I am a silver medalist. Although she was always that schoolgirl who, due to touring with a choreographic ensemble, studied on her own most of the time.

Anton Lavrentiev – in the series, his hero teaches music – admitted that at one time he could envy the hero of Dani Milokhin: “I was a black sheep, kept to myself. I can’t boast that I was a ringleader, like the character of Dani Milokhin. Only a couple of times participated in school fights. Just wondering what it is. But me and the fights are, of course, two different stories.”

In the series, high school students wear dark blue school uniforms, emphasizing their style with accessories and unique details. The character of Dani Milokhin prefers bright hats and black manicure, and the heroine of Margarita Dyachenkova prefers chokers, ear cuffs and arrows on her eyes. “Our series is at the crossroads of generations, so we wanted to show the children fashionable and daring, and make the images of the teachers classic, as we thirty-year-olds remember them at school,” comments make-up artist Alena Trusova.
