The Crimean authorities have banned the use of pyrotechnic products and unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of the republic until the end of the special military operation in Ukraine, said the head of the region Sergey Aksyonov.
“I ask the Crimeans to refrain from using pyrotechnics and drones for the duration of the special military operation … I hope for the consciousness and responsibility of our citizens,” said Mr. Aksenov in Telegram.
According to him, appropriate changes have been made to the decree “On the Threat of an Emergency Situation that Arose on the Territory of the Republic of Crimea”. The document was published on the portal of the government of the republic.
According to documentnow only federal executive bodies, their territorial bodies, as well as the executive bodies of Crimea can use drones.
Earlier, the authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) also banned the use of drones throughout the entire period of the special military operation. A similar ban applies to residents of the Belgorod region of Russia.
