Politico: Finnish Foreign Minister admits the possibility of sending military personnel to Ukraine
Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said that the possibility of the West sending its military contingent to Ukraine should not be completely ruled out, according to an article in Politico.
As noted, the Finnish Foreign Minister was referring to the “long-term perspective.” Valtonen urged not to “categorically” reject such a possibility, also mentioning the United States, since it is unknown how the situation will develop.
At the same time, according to her, at the moment the Finnish authorities have finally decided on their position on this issue.
“We are not sending any troops now and do not want to discuss this,” said the head of the Finnish Foreign Ministry.
