Finland will conduct first flight over the Baltics as a NATO member

The Finnish Air Force will make an observation flight in the Baltics for the first time as part of the North Atlantic Alliance. This was stated in the account of the country’s Armed Forces on the social network X (ex-Twitter).
“On October 10, 2023, the Defense Forces will carry out an observation flight in the Baltic countries in the airspace of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia…”, the publication notes.
It is clarified that the flight will become part of full-fledged cooperation between the member states of the bloc.
Finland officially joined NATO on April 4, 2023.
