Figure skaters will perform on the Perm esplanade to the music of Khachaturian and Tchaikovsky

On January 3, 4 and 5, the New Year’s family show “300 Years of Perm” will be held at the skating rink near the Theater-Theatre. It will be attended by figure skating stars, including Olympic champions Alexei Yagudin, Maxim Marinin and Permian Tatiana Totmyanina, as well as young athletes from Perm. Ilya Averbukh, world and European champion, Olympic medalist, will be the director of demonstration numbers and host of the gala show.
The project office of Perm-300 reported that the participants of the gala show will present performances to the Saber Dance, which the composer Aram Khachaturian wrote in Perm, and to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
The audience will also meet with a new generation of Perm athletes: Anna Soboleva and Matvey Churakov, Polina Neganova and Roman Fedotov. Demonstration performances will be presented by Victoria Fedyanina: the sixth stage of the Grand Prix series in figure skating was recently held in Perm, and Victoria Fedyanina, a 15-year-old representative of the Perm school, entered the top five best figure skaters in Russia.
The pupils of the Perm coaching couple, Valentina and Valeria Tyukov, will also take to the ice. During their career, they have trained more than a hundred Russian figure skaters who successfully perform at international competitions.
Half-hour performances will begin on January 3 and 4 at 17:30 and 21:30, January 5 at 11:00. For spectators, stands designed for a thousand people are provided, admission is free. It will also be possible to watch the ice show online – in the official community 300th anniversary of Perm.
