Sofia Shevchenko and Andrey Ezhlov received 108.70 points for their dance in the free program.
As TASS reports, Andrei Yezhov explained to journalists that they did not understand the reason for the “two deductions.” He also emphasized that they still managed to complete the program and get into the top six skaters and the national team.
“We are absolutely satisfied with how the training went here, this is important for us, the judges watch and evaluate. Dancing is unpredictable – I didn’t know what to expect. Do what you can, and come what may, we are moving towards our goal,” TASS agency quotes Sofia Shevchenko.
Previously, MK-Chelyabinsk reported that figure skater Evgeny Semenenko became the leader at the Spartakiad of the strongest athletes.
