Figure skater Sofya Akatieva beat Valieva with Tuktamysheva and became the champion of Russia

Athlete Sofya Akatieva won a gold medal in the Russian Figure Skating Championship in Krasnoyarsk. In the sum of the short (85.59 points) and free (164.15 points) program, she scored 249.74 points.

Akatieva overtook Kamila Valieva, who scored 247.32 points at the end of the tournament, both girls represent the group of Eteri Tutberidze. The third place was taken by Elizaveta Tuktamysheva with 241.72 points. She represents the group of Alexei Mishin.

Now Sofya Akatieva is 15 years old, and for the first time she became the champion of the country. The previous Russian champion was Kamila Valieva, who won the gold medal in the team event at the Beijing 2022 Olympics.
