Figure skater Adelia Petrosyan, having won the first stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Ufa, admitted disappointment with her performance in the free program, reports Sport24.

Petrosyan noted that she may have been overtired, since she was the last to perform. She admitted that she expected more and was disappointed with the result. According to her, she had never performed to music of such a tender nature before, and when the coaches offered her this program, she almost burst into tears from emotion. She noted that such a victory does not satisfy her and she is not going to celebrate.

Adelia Petrosyan, training under the guidance of Eteri Tutberidze, Sergei Dudakov and Daniil Gleikhengauz, received 234.74 points for both programs. In the short program, she received 150.36 points, although she made mistakes on the quadruple flip and four-revolution toe loop. However, she performed a combination of a quadruple toe loop and a double axel, although she allowed a step-out.

In second place is Anna Frolova, who scored 137.49 points for her free program and 210.88 points in total. The top three were completed by Elizaveta Kulikova, who was competing in her first senior season. She received 199.21 points for both performances and 133.57 points for her free skate.
