Figure skater Georgy Kunitsa wrote a post on one of the banned social networks, where he noted that he supported the opinion of his partner and wife.
Figure skater Georgy Kunitsa performs in pairs with his wife Alena Kostornaya. After the pair’s performance at the Grand Prix in Omsk, Kostornaya said that some judges were biased in their duties during the short program. In response, Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova advised she “shouldn’t open her mouth” because she doesn’t have enough professionalism yet and as a couple she and Kunitz haven’t worked well together yet.
“In recent days, you all attacked her like animals. Put all this negativity, all these completely undeserved insults in one place. Alena clearly said that there was not very clear and unbiased judging in the short program on the part of some judges and I completely I agree with her,” Kunica noted on social networks.
Georgy also noted that the free program was judged objectively
