Festival “Vysotsky. I love” will be held at VDNKh

From January 24 to January 29, VDNKh will host the Vysotsky. I love”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Vysotsky.

The festival was prepared jointly with the Vladimir Vysotsky State Museum. Throughout the week, VDNKh will host creative meetings, lectures, and film screenings. Guests will hear the songs of Vladimir Semyonovich and see stills from films with his participation, according to the official site mayor of Moscow.

So, January 24 in the lecture hall of the Worker and Kolkhoz Woman pavilion, a creative meeting will be held with the artist’s son, a Russian theater and film actor, director, screenwriter and director of the Vladimir Vysotsky State Museum, Nikita Vysotsky. Start at 19.30.

On the birthday of Vladimir Semyonovich, January 25, the musical performance “Vysotsky. I love” performed by the artists of the Studio of theatrical art of Sergei Zhenovach and the workshop of Boris Plotnikov. Start at 19.00.

January 26 Alla Reid, soloist of the Gradsky Hall Theater, finalist of the Voice and Three Chords shows Alla Reid, laureate of all-Russian and international festivals of pop artists Sergey Godunov, teacher and well-known performer of the author’s song Evgeny Tkachenko. Start at 19.30.

January 27 in the pavilion “Worker and Collective Farm Woman” at the lecture “Vladimir Vysotsky and cinema” they will talk about the artist’s work in cinema, show fragments of Vysotsky’s rare screen tests, excerpts from films with his participation and a video recording with a story about the filming of the film “The Tale of How Tsar Peter the Arap married.” Start at 16.00.

On the same day, the Film Museum at VDNKh will show Yevgeny Karelov’s film Two Comrades Were Serving, in which Vladimir Vysotsky played lieutenant Alexander Brusentsov. Film critic Stanislav Lugovoy will tell the guests about the film. Start at 18.30.

28 January Grigory Tarasevich, a journalist and popularizer of science, will give a lecture “Vysotsky and the cyclotron. Physicists and lyricists. The guests of the meeting will learn how the dispute about who is more important – physicists or lyrics began in the 1960s, and why this opposition is still relevant today. Start at 16.00.

28 January guests are invited to the “Books” pavilion “Rosiso”, where the poetic evening “Vladimir Vysotsky. Poet, actor and citizen. The host of the evening, at which the poet’s poems will be heard, is Natalya Ladokhina, a teacher at the Lyceum of the National Research University Higher School of Economics and the Filippov School. Start at 18.00.

On the final day of the festival, January 29, at the Slovo Museum of Slavic Literature, historian, journalist and exhibition curator Dmitry Taratorin will give a lecture “Robbers and sovereigns: Russian history through the eyes of Vladimir Vysotsky”. He will tell you who the characters in Vysotsky’s works were in real life and what he wanted to talk about in his poems and songs. Start at 12.00.

And in the “Books” pavilion “Rosiso” at the lecture “Tales of V. Vysotsky and the Russian folklore and fairy tale tradition”, Ph.D. folk and literary fairy tale and analyze the “fabulous” works of Vysotsky. Start at 14.00.
