The former owner of the Moscow football club “Spartak” Leonid Fedun spoke about the mass brawl between the players of the red and white and St. Petersburg “Zenith” at the end of regular time of the group stage match for the Cup of Russia.
“We waved at the end, it created a sharpness,” Fedun said, noting that the match itself was boring and there were practically no chances.
He also called the main thing that Spartak managed to keep the first place in the group.
Recall that in the end six players received red cards. It is expected that the FTC RFU will issue a long-term disqualification to all of them. Thus, the teams have lost key players who will not be able to play in subsequent matches of the Russian Cup.
