Russian mixed martial artist Fedor Emelianenko will fight his last fight against US Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader. This was reported on the promotion’s Twitter page.
The title fight will take place on February 4, 2023 in Los Angeles as part of the Bellator 290 tournament.
In 2019, it was Bader who beat Emelianenko in Los Angeles – by knockout in the very first minute of the fight. The Russian, under a contract with Bellator, has to play the final match.
Fedor Emelianenko, one of the best fighters in the history of mixed martial arts, is now 46 years old. During his career in MMA, The Last Emperor won 40 victories, lost in six fights. The American fighter is 39 years old, Bader won 30 victories in his career, lost seven fights.
