The President of FC Rostov Artashes Harutyunyants announced the beginning of legal proceedings with the Norwegian football player Mathias Norman, who left Russia contrary to the terms of the contract. According to Match TV, the club sent a complaint to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Norman violated the agreement in early August when he left the country after the fall of drones in the Moscow City area. At the time of his departure, the footballer no longer played for the Rostov FC, but was on loan from Dynamo Moscow.
At the same time, the former midfielder notified both clubs of the termination of the contract, explaining his decision by the escalation of the conflict with Ukraine. However, within a few days the athlete became part of the Al-Raed football club from Saudi Arabia.
During the trial, Rostov and Dynamo were offered assistance by the President of the Russian Football Union, Alexander Dyukov.
