The press service of FC Paris Nizhny Novgorod announced on its official resources that a backup team with professional status will appear in the structure of the Mir-RPL club. January 18 was the birthday of FC Paris NN-2, created on the basis of guys from the academy who, due to their age, cannot play in the youth championship. The core of the team was made up of football players born in 2004 who previously played in the MFL.
FC “Paris Nizhny Novgorod-2” will be based at the legendary Lokomotiv stadium, which, after the liquidation of FC “Volna”, hosted only youth championship matches, and the backup team of the city’s main team will play in Group No. 2 of the Second League “B”. The autumn stage of this championship was won by FC Khimik from Dzerzhinsk. The opponents in group No. 2 are serious and represent the academies of RPL clubs from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
FC Paris NN-2 will play the first friendly match in the club’s history on January 31. Nizhny Novgorod residents will confront their fellow countrymen from Khimik.
