The Federal Bureau of Investigation plans to search the home of former US Vice President Mike Pence. Secret documents will be searched in his residence. At the moment, a possible date for such a visit is being discussed with the lawyers of the ex-vice president, according to the Wall Street Journal.
In January, Pence’s lawyers themselves announced the discovery of several classified papers and handed them over to the relevant authorities.
Searches are expected to take place in the coming days at Pence’s home in Indiana, “people familiar with the matter” told the publication.
FBI agents previously searched the private office and two homes of President Joe Biden, as well as the estate of former President Donald Trump. Both were found to have classified materials, which, as noted, were kept in conditions that were not adapted for this.
