FAS will study the validity of the planned MTS tariff increase

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) will analyze the increase in tariffs by the cellular operator MTS, should from the department’s message.

The FAS explained that the operator warned subscribers about a price increase on September 14. The company plans to increase the monthly payment by 59 rubles from September 28. at some rates.

“The service receives complaints from subscribers MTS. FAS will send a request to the telecom operator in order to establish all the circumstances of the increase,” the department said. The Antimonopoly Service warned that if violations are discovered, action will be taken.
