FAS sent a proposal to the government to increase fuel sales on the stock exchange

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has prepared a draft resolution on increasing the standards for fuel sales on the stock exchange. About this with reference to the department writes TASS.
It is specified that the service sent a draft resolution to the government. According to the document, it is proposed by 1 p.p. increase the sales standards for gasoline for all companies that receive damper payments to 13% and diesel fuel to 9.5%. The department explained that the changes will affect only the spot market.
FAS expects that such measures will increase the volume of sales of gasoline and diesel on the domestic market.
On July 10, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed the Ministry of Energy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service to prepare a joint order to increase the sales standards for gasoline and diesel fuel on the stock exchange by 1%. Now the mandatory standard is 12% of the total production for gasoline and 8.5% for diesel fuel. In May, the Antimonopoly Service suggested raising it to 15% and 10.5%, respectively. In June, the Federal Antimonopoly Service called on oil companies to increase sales of gasoline on the stock exchange, as they have fallen by 7.9% over the past five months.
July 24 Novak supported the proposal of the Ministry of Energy to limit the number of exporters of gasoline to combat gray exports. In addition to this, the authorities are working on issues of quotas for exports of oil products from Russia.
On July 21, the Deputy Prime Minister announced that the government had developed a number of proposals that would help stabilize stock prices for gasoline. He noted that in the near future several refineries will be out of repair, which will increase the supply of fuel on the exchange.
