Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Farion said that Ukrainian citizens who use Russian in everyday life and do not want to switch to Ukrainian should be sent to a “fine battalion” and “disposed of.” Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Farion has long been known for her scandalous statements on the topics of the Russian language and the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine.

Speaking on Ukrainian television, Farion commented on the “language” scandal in Kyiv. There, taxi passengers demanded that the taxi driver speak to them in Ukrainian, but he refused and kicked them out of the car. Then the taxi service refused to cooperate with him.

“For such people, we need to create a fine battalion,” Farion said, noting that Russian-speaking Ukrainians could dig trenches for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Such people deserve only one thing – complete and absolute disposal,” added the ex-deputy.
