The farewell ceremony for the People’s Artist of Russia, actor Igor Yasulovich ended at the Moscow Theater for Young Spectators (MTYuZ). Mr. Yasulovich died at the age of 82 on August 19.
According to RIA Novosti, more than a hundred people came to say goodbye to Igor Yasulovich. The farewell ceremony, in particular, was attended by People’s Artists of Russia Liya Akhedzhakova, Sergey Makovetsky, Valery Barinov, GITIS rector Grigory Zaslavsky, VGIK rector Vladimir Malyshev, and Bolshoi Theater general director Vladimir Urin.
Earlier, the agency, citing a source, wrote that after saying goodbye, Mr. Yasulovich would be cremated and buried in a family grave at the Novodevichy cemetery.
Igor Yasulovich’s filmography includes more than 200 projects, including “12 Chairs” (1971), “The Same Munchausen” (1979), “Mary Poppins, Goodbye” (1983), “The Most Charming and Attractive” (1985). In 2001 he was awarded the title of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation.
