On September 3, the Galichsky district will become a venue for a large-scale sporting event.
The Galichskoye Zaozerye Turkcluster is being developed by the administration of the Kostroma Region on the initiative of the head of the region, Sergey Sitnikov. Cross-country skiing competitions, track and field races and orienteering competitions are held here.
This time the participants of the tournament will be participants from all over the country. They have to show their skills in a gravel bike marathon. The organizers have planned different distances: 14, 66 and 97 km. Children have to drive one and three km.
Participants will have the opportunity to see the sights of Galich, because the route was conceived for the sake of the beauties of the region.
During the race, participants will be able not only to compete, but also to get acquainted with local architectural monuments and historical places – the tracks run both along the highway and over rough terrain. Now about two hundred people have already expressed their desire to compete – Muscovites, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Vologda.
