Families of Russian sailors held by Ukraine approached Putin, Shoigu and Bortnikov

Relatives of 65 Russian sailors held by Ukraine in the port of Izmail have written an open appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov.
Text of the letter published R.T. In it, relatives of civilian sailors write that they have been in the port of Izmail for 8 months and are equated by Ukraine with soldiers taken prisoner. The appeal notes that during this time the Russian authorities were able to help a number of citizens of the country, but not sailors.
They give examples: “Truckers, teachers, engineers returned to Russia on exchange – people of different professions and specialties.” And they write that among the civilian sailors held in Ukraine, “nine sick people who need to be urgently released,” and two of them need urgent operations “to save their lives.”
The authors of the letter asked the president and the heads of law enforcement agencies to assist in the return of their loved ones, they do not believe that nothing can be done.
Earlier, Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights under the President of Russia, said that negotiations on the return of sailors were being conducted “every second”, but only a few people were returned, and one of the sailors died.
