The final stage of the Youth Volleyball League continues in Surgut. Having beaten an opponent from Kemerovo, Novy Urengoy “Fakel” became the champion ahead of schedule – for the second time in a row, as reported on March 29 on the website of the Yamal volleyball club.
“In case of victory in three games over their Kemerovo peers, the Yamal team secured the early championship of the Youth League 2024. The game turned out to be tense, but the polar explorers completed their task – they defeated Kuzbass-2 with a score of 3:0 and became two-time champions of the Youth League! “Fakel” (Novy Urengoy) – “Kuzbass-2” (Kemerovo) – 3:0 (25:16, 25:20, 26:24),” the message says.
It is clarified that the Fakel youth team won eight out of eight matches, gained 23 points and became unattainable for their opponents.
Let us remember that last year Yamal athletes became champions Youth League, beating a team from Moscow.
