The government has approved export duties for several dozen goods; at the current ruble exchange rate they will be maximum. The official Telegram channel of the government confirmed information about measures to reduce exports, previously published in Kommersant. As the publication’s sources expected, from October 1 the authorities will set a duty of up to 10% on goods sent abroad. This is done to protect the domestic market. The list includes several dozen items: from fish, eggs, vegetables and fruits to cement, cotton, jewelry, caviar, vodka and ferrous metals.
