Experts report explosive growth in demand for Christmas goods

In November, the demand for New Year’s goods exceeds the figures for the same period last year by more than 5 times, RIA Novosti reports with reference to research data from the VseInstrumenty.ru online hypermarket.
The study says that in Russia as a whole, the growth in demand for New Year’s goods for the year increased by 449%.
The most popular products are Christmas decorations and balls, stars, fireplaces, lanterns and figurines, candles, artificial spruce, serpentine. Interior items are also actively bought up, and demand growth amounted to 203%.
Experts note that last year such a rush demand was not recorded.
