Expert: The West overestimated the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use its equipment

Western countries have overestimated the ability of the Ukrainian military to effectively use the equipment transferred to them, military analyst Franz-Stefan Gadi said in an interview with Messenger.
According to him, “the ability of the Ukrainian forces to acquire tactical prowess with these platforms and be able to use them in a combined arms way” was overestimated.
Gadi said that at first the representatives of the Western countries were optimistic about this, but then it became clear that there were no reasons for him, and the loss of equipment was too high.
The expert notes that there are heavy losses among American equipment, for example, the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle.
On August 4, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukraine’s losses since the beginning of the “counteroffensive” amounted to more than 43,000 people and more than 1,800 armored vehicles, including Leopard and AMX tanks.
