Expert calls ‘alien’ mummies shown in Mexico fakes

Mummies of supposed aliens from Peru, shown by a ufologist journalist in the Mexican Congress, are made from ancient human and animal remains. This was announced by the Russian popularizer of science, founder and editor-in-chief of the scientific and educational portal “Anthropogenesis.ru” Alexander Sokolov in an interview “Gazeta.Ru”.
“In short, these are fakes… this is a doll made from animal bones, coated with some kind of composition, sprinkled with something on top in order to deceive all sorts of dating methods…” the specialist noted.
The expert explained that to make such an alien, people deliberately engage in vandalism, digging up ancient burials. In fact, Sokolov clarified, such archaeologists can be called real bandits – they have criminal records for smuggling, for the destruction of monuments and attempted illegal sales.
The bodies of two “aliens” were brought to Mexico by ufologist journalist Jaime Maussan. The man, under oath, stated that he discovered them during excavations in Peru.
