Former Zenit midfielder Konstantin Zyryanov called ridiculous the rumors that the St. Petersburg club allegedly played fixed matches with Bayern Munich in the 2007-2008 season. He stated this in an interview on the Youtube channel “SBG Show”.
According to him, the team knew about such rumors, but did not discuss them, because it was ridiculous to even suggest such a thing.
