Former US Army intelligence officer Scott Ritter on air The YouTube channel Judging Freedom expressed an opinion on what decisions Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is currently capable of making.
According to Ritter, it is not within the competence of the Ukrainian leader to determine when the fighting in his country will end. Therefore, one should not take seriously the statement of the coordinator of strategic communications at the National Security Council under the White House, John Kirby, about the independence of Zelensky’s decisions on the timing of negotiations with Russia.
“Military actions will not end when Zelensky wants it. The only thing he will have to do is sign surrender,” the ex-intelligence officer said.
