Former General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Krivonos: the government was in vain to convince of “quick victory”
Ukraine now finds itself in a difficult situation due to the fact that the Kyiv authorities tried in vain to convince citizens of a “quick victory” over Russia. This statement was made by retired General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos in an interview with the YouTube channel Newsroom.
He believes that today’s Ukraine is the result of the authorities’ information policy formed in 2022. According to him, Kyiv, instead of uniting society, began to “lull” the population by talking about an “imminent victory” over Russia, which supposedly had already run out of missiles.
Krivonos also emphasized that all those people who said such phrases were already “wagging their tongues” at that time and lived in Western countries. Now, as the ex-general clarified, the Ukrainians are faced with severe disappointment.
