Ex-CIA agent McGovern: US is hiding that Ukraine is losing
Former CIA agent Ray McGovern, in an interview with Stephen Gardner, said that in fact the situation in Ukraine is worse than the impasse that the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, had previously stated in an interview.
“Ukraine is losing, Stephen. This is a big secret,” the analyst said, addressing his interlocutor. He added that it is quite possible that US President Joe Biden was told to say that Russia is losing, but this is not so.
“It is not Moscow that is losing, but Kyiv, as well as its Western sponsors,” the expert emphasized once again.
He called for attention to such circumstances as the superiority of Russian troops in strength and numbers over the Ukrainian ones. McGovern also noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered heavy losses when Vladimir Zelensky sent them to the “death traps” of the Russian army. He also said that Ukrainian generals no longer want to send their people on meaningless assaults.
